I'll be playing blues, soul, rock 'n' roll, and country.

I have an amazing band of stellar musicians.

We have Mr. Tim Scribner on bass, Alec Tackmann on drums, Mary Cutrefello on guitar.

♪ The new EP that's out is called "Testify, and I actually started writing it prior to the pandemic.

I had just had these songs that I needed to get out, and I wanted to share.

♪ You gotta testify ♪ ♪ Tell the truth ♪ So when the pandemic happened, everything came to a halt.

Then with the murder of Mr. Floyd, I felt inspired to create something that was beautiful and black and had intention from Minnesota as a way to show love and promote healing.

There's just so many things as an artist, for me anyway, that I feel compelled and called to touch upon.

When I listen to the songs, obviously the songs speak to everyone; they're accessible for everybody.

It's really important for me to show up in these spaces and to represent Minnesota.

Then also I allow universe and spirit to take it where it's supposed to go.

I have the intention, the creation, then where it's supposed to go, where it's supposed to touch, I trust that to happen as well.
